Anthony Spurling

Anthony Spurling, 59 of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully at his residence on May 22, 2023.

He was a member of First Baptist Church Campbellsville and later joined St. Stephens Church in Louisville. Anthony enjoyed taking long walks and being around people. Anthony enjoyed telling jokes and making people smile. He never met a stranger, and he would go out of his way to make sure those around him was in good care. He enjoyed watching Judge Judy, feeding the homeless and spending time with his wife and daughter and other family members. Most of all Anthony was loving supporting father and down to earth he will be missed dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Spurling; his mother Lucinda Robinson; his brother, Alonzo Spurling.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Stacee Spurling; a daughter, Shenitrea Vaughn; bonus daughter, Kierstie Webb; two bonus grandchildren, Braxton Cisco and Layla Chaney; one brother, Tyrone Spurling (Amelia); a sister, Zelda Southers ( Mike); his step-father, James Anthony Robinson; his mother in-law, Betty Vaughn; a brother in-law, Seneca Edwards; sister in-laws, Shetira Arnold and Shawnta Vaughn and Stepsister, Angie Johnson; nieces and nephews, Tyson Shively, Jemeka Spurling, Anthony “EB” Spurling, Clarence Spurling, Zaria Spurling, Demonte’ Spurling, Lacoua Spurling, DanNisha Taylor, Jershyda Wright, Jeremyah Wright, Kaysen Edwards and Step niece, Destiny Johnson; three aunts, Rena Davis, Lucille Simmons and Delphine Spurling-Murry (Vern); a uncle, Donald Eric Spurling (Angela) and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at First Baptist Church Campbellsville with Rev. Melvin Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Church.
