Beaulah Ross Obituary

Beaulah Mae Ross, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Abell was born on June 19, 1944 in Campbellsville, Kentucky where she remained until she completed high school.

Thereafter, Beaulah moved to Indianapolis, where she met and united in Holy Matrimony with Nathaniel Ross on January 10, 1970; two children were born to their union. Beaulah was a loving mother and a stern disciplinarian that expected nothing but the utmost respect.

She was a long-time employee at Wishard Memorial Hospital, serving as a secretary and nursing assistant from 1976 until her retirement in 1997. She lived to enjoy 25 beautiful years of retirement.

As a faithful member of New Day Pentecostal Church, Beaulah was a generous soul who would never say no and was readily available to all who needed her. Those who loved her will miss her warm smile and affectionate laugh.

Beaulah Ross departed this life on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of seventy-eight years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel; her parents; two brothers and two sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Elizabeth Armstrong (Jerry) and Ever Ross-Perry; her grandsons, Christopher Ross-Love, Joshua Ross-Ruffin, and Ezell Perry, IV; one great-granddaughter Arria Craig-Ross; brother, Richard Denton; sister, Tammye Henderson, and a host of other relatives, cherished saints and friends.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Miller Cemetery.
