Casey Hines Obituary

Casey Dewayne Hines was born on October 8, 1990 in Campbellsville, KY to Robin Renee Hines and Dewayne Douglas Groves.  He departed this life on March 30, 2022 at the age of 31.

Casey accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and while he attended several churches in the Campbellsville/Green County area, he remained a member of First Baptist Church Campbellsville, Ky until his untimely death.

Casey was a positive influence and made a huge impact on all those he met.  With his encouraging words and his fun-loving spirit, “Boss” made everyone feel like they were his best friend.  Casey had many things that he loved in his life…being a father, family, friends, riding motorcycles, and being a part of the “Who U Wit” Motorcycle Club.  He passionately loved his craft and being “Boss da Barber”.  He loved his clients, coaching football, four-wheeling, fishing and the Campbellsville High School Class of 2009.  Most importantly, he loved the Lord.

Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Hines, Nell and Arthur Groves, Jr. and Aunts Cheryl Hodges, Francis Yates Mendez and Megan Dickens.  He leaves to cherish his parents Robin Renee Hines and Dewayne Douglas Groves.  Grandmother Nicola Hines, Matriarch and Great Aunt Mildred Smith.  His children Cayden Dewayne and Caylee Denise Hines, and Zion Mitchell.  He is survived by five siblings Tara Fisher (sister/cousin), Tyrell Embry, Chaz Groves, Cless Perry and Krie Perry.  He is also survived by his uncle Craig Hines, Aunts Laura Duvall, Geralyn McDowell (Otis), Sandra Gurley (Abraham), Carolyn Groves, Laura Phillips and Kelli Grace Napier along with host of other Great Uncles and Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Casey also leaves to cherish his special companion and the love of his life, Chanda Calhoun, a bonus Mom, Pamela Cecil, Godfather Toby Robinson and Tyler Cook, his mentor and coworker at On-Point Barber Studio.

Casey “Boss” Hines will truly be missed.
