Ms. Felicia Rhea Martin, received her angel wings when the moon rose on Monday night August 23rd, 2021 at Jewish Hospital.
Felicia was born to Virginia M. Martin on May 27th 1978 at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She Professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Owens Chapel Baptist Church there she attended Sunday School and sung in the choirs.
Felicia received her education from Caverna Elementary and Graduated Caverna High School with the class of 1996. She had several employment opportunities during her life span here on earth; such as cooking along side her mother at the Watermill, Park Mammoth Resort, worked as caretaker for the little ones at the daycare. She loved her babies and they adored her. She also was a Clerk at Thornton’s in Louisville. Her hobbies where singing and an awesome hair stylist with braiding of the hair for those who knew her gift.
She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Rev. Chester and Evelyn Martin; Aunts Mattie, Ann and Uncle Larry; several other relatives.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her Mom who she loved very much, Virginia Martin(Gregory Ennis) of Horse Cave, KY; two Sons, Natorious DeKeye’s and Matthew Darnell; Special Great Niece, Bryleigh Snow who she loved like a daughter; her sister, Jessica Martin of Louisville, KY; a brother, Gregory “Duane” of Horse Cave, KY; Nieces, Montazia, Chloe-Evelyn, Ashanti, Jessina, Cardelia, and Liz; Nephews, Jessie, Jeffery, Kelly, Byron Kingston, Kanye, Makhai and Malachi; Aunts, Priscilla Jo and Lenita Carol; a Uncle, Bobby Martin, Fred Ennis and Patrick Bethel; Great Aunts, Lizzie Mae, Geneva Martin and Crystal Vaughn a special friend Tanita Stewart; and host of Cousin, friends and acquaintances.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Owens Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. E.A. Duke officiating. Burial will follow in the Owens Chapel Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Church.
We will be following the guidelines of CDC, everyone attending will be required to have on a mask before entering the church and social distance will be practice.
