Harold R. Robinson was born on July 20, 1942 in Campbellsville, KY to the late George and Christine Robinson. He quietly departed this life on September 7, 2021 at the age of 79.
Harold accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He was a member of Fannie Chapel CME church where served as the President of the Steward Board, member of the Usher board, Trustee and sung in the choir. He coach little league baseball for 20 years and he also enjoyed watching sports on television.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Christine Robinson; his step-mother, Dorothy Calhoun; two brothers, George Colston Robinson and William Allen (Peaches) Robinson; two sisters, Elizabeth Jane Rogers and Patricia Ann Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Carol Robinson of Campbellsville, KY; two sons, Marcellus Robinson of Campbellsville, KY and Brian Robinson of Danville, KY; two grandchildren, Tyler Robinson and Sarah Robinson; three great grandchildren, Raenyia Robinson, Levi Brown and Elijah King; two sisters, Peggy Brown Robinson and Kathy Robinson Garr; two special daughters, Tonie Marshall of Atlanta, GA and Patricia Norris of Cambridge, OH; four brother in-laws, Kenneth Fisher (Mable) James Dunlap, John Dunlap, Donald Dunlap; three sister in-laws, Faye Williams (Phil), Joyce Dunlap, Helen Hazlewood; and host nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
A private funeral service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Fannie Chapel CME church with Rev. Dewayne Golightly officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Fannie Chapel CME church.
