Jimmy Tucker

Jimmy  Tucker, 82 of Campbellsville, KY passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024 at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. 

Mr. Tucker was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church where he attended faithfully. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Tucker enjoyed fishing, gardening, doing outdoors work and listening to Motown Music. Mr. Tucker loved his family and enjoyed spending every minute with them. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mable Tucker; two daughters, Vanessa Tucker Smith and Jamie Tucker Givens (Rod); two grandchildren, Courtney Smith and Carson Smith; a sister, Cecilia Mae Marshall; four brother in laws; four sister in laws; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation will begin Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m until the time of service at Pleasant Union Baptist Church.

Hayes Brothers Funeral Home Campbellsville will be in charge of the arrangements.
