Katie (Ivery) Williams

Mrs. Katie Ivery Williams, 81, died Thursday, April 21, 2022 at The Medical Center Bowling Green.

Mrs. Williams was a member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was a lifelong Educator and served for 34 years in the Broward County School system. Mrs. Williams enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Mr. Rodney K. Ivery and Mrs. Fannie Curry Ivery.

Survivors include, her daughter, Vetria Williams Anthony (Charles "Donnie"); three grandchildren, TaKeia N. Anthony PhD (Alvin), Derek Anthony (Lashlee) and Diondra Anthony; three great-grandchildren, Dominique Anthony, Zaahir Anthony and Audrey Rorer; three sisters, Rosie I. Pettigrue (Ernest), Mertha Ann Norman (Ronnie) and Vivian I. Fresh (Ronald); and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First Baptist Church Campbellsville with Rev. Chris Curry officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First Baptist Church Campbellsville.
