Lloyd Warren Rice

Mr. Lloyd Warren Rice, age 81, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Veterans Hospital in Louisville.

Lloyd was a devoted member of Bethel AME Church. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army, completing 13 years of service and proudly serving as a Vietnam War veteran. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching wrestling and cheering on Louisville basketball. He was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Alberta Rice; his brothers, Leon, Bobby, Junior, and Billy Rice; and his sisters, Geneva Dixon Stewart, Hattie Rice, and Dorothy Jean Buckner.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Charles Rice; two sisters, Mayme Faulkner and Edna Faye Robinson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will continue to honor his legacy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Bethel AME Church with Dr. Michael Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the church.
