Lucinda “Cindy” Robinson was born to Robert and Mary Wagner on March 11, 1945. She was one of 7 children. Cindy accepted the Lord at an early age and never wavered from trusting and depending on the Lord. She loved singing in the choir. She departed her earthly body on January 7, 2023.
Cindy attended Durham High School (Hornets) but graduated at a later date, with her GED.
Cindy married and moved to Indianapolis, IN. where she started her family before moving back to Campbellsville, KY.
Along with her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her son Alonzo Spurling; two brothers Luther and Robert “Bug” Wagner; two sisters Anna-Margaret Wagner and Martha Williams.
She leaves to morn her memories husband James “Anthony” Robinson, two sons Tyrone Spurling, (Amelia) and Anthony Spurling (Stacee) and daughter Zelda Southers (Mike) and stepdaughter Angie Johnson (Louisville, KY). Eight grandchildren, Tyson Shively (like a son), Jemeka Spurling, Anthony “Eb” Spurling, Clarence Spurling, Zaria Spurling, Demonte’ Spurling, Lacoya Spurling, Shenitrea Vaughn, Step-granddaughter, Destiny Johnson and 20+ great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She leaves behind two wonderful sisters who she loved unconditionally, Rena Davis and her twin Lucille Simmons. Three sisters-in-law Gwendolyn Robinson, Karen Robinson, and Delphine Spurling-Murry. Two brothers-in-law Toby Robinson and Donald “Eric” Spurling.
Cindy loved to laugh and give her former Durham High School classmates a trip down memory lane on what they use to do, and remember when?
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at First Baptist Church Campbellsville with Rev. Montel Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at First Baptist Church.
