Samuel Robinson

Mr. Samuel Robinson, 97, of Campbellsville, Kentucky died on Monday, March 14, 2022 at his residence. 

He was a member of Bethel A.M.E Church where he served faithfully. He served as Sunday School Superintend, church Trustee and Steward. He owned and operated Robinson Marine since 1953. Mr. Robinson was an Exhorter most of all He served in the United Stated Navy. He was a Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend. Mr. Robinson will be missed by many. 

He was preceded in death by two sons, Joesph Samuel Robinson and Charles W. Robinson. 

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Mary Robinson of Campbellsville, KY; a son, Bruce Robinson of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Dr. Fay Robinson-Davis; Eight Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; one Great-great Grandchild; three sisters, Madelon Dudley of Birmingham, AL, Lena Stiggers of Indianapolis, IN and Rachel Taylor of Richmond, VA; family friend, Mary Gladys McCarol; and host of nieces, nephew's other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Bethel A.M.E. Church with Pastor Doretha Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Bethel A.M.E. Church.
