Wanda Webb

On July 10, 2023, the death Angel came and took Wanda Sue Williams Webb from us. She was born October 12, 1946, in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late George T. and Allene Cowherd Williams. She attended elementary and High school at Durham and was a 1964 graduate of the Campbellsville city schools. She attended Campbellsville college and geared toward business education.

She was a former employee of Ingersoll Rand as secretary and as general finance company in Lexington, Kentucky. She was one of the first organizers of the Durham high reunion where it began in 1978, she was a member of the Taylor County civic league. She was a very kind and sweet person. In 2009 Sue united with Pleasant Run Missionary Baptist Church in Greensburg, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Allene Williams; a son, Nivarian Shively.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, LaTonya Shively King; seven grandchildren, Kelsey King, Carlos Scrivener III, Charrion Shively, Tyson Shively, Mikia Shively, Nikiya Shively and Nevaeh Bates; eight great-grandchildren, Zion Mitchell, Cayden Hines, Caylee Hines, Ky’re Crider, Tiago Scrivener, Navier Scrivener, E’laia Scrivener and Kayson Barnhill; a sister, Rebecca Henry (James); a Larry Williams (Wendy); her husband, Otis Webb; stepmother, Celia Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M Monday, July 17, 2023 at First Baptist Church Campbellsville with Rev. Tyrone Johnson officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 17, 2023 at the church.
