Obituary

Wray Evelyn Hill, 83 of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Bluegrass Assisted Living in Campbellsville, KY.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served faithfully. During her spare time she enjoyed gardening and traveling. Most of all Mrs. Hill enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odency and Veronica Johnson; her husband, Jerry Hill; her sister, Geneva Reese; three brothers, Rev. Walter Johnson, Otis Johnson and Odency Johnson; sister in-laws, Barbara Johnson, Juanita Johnson and Josephine Johnson; 

She leaves to cherish her memories, a sister, Annette Branch; a brother Forrest Johnson (Wynetta) and host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church. 

Hayes Brothers Funeral Home Campbellsville is in charge of the arrangements.
